GLENN GARY

Glenn W. GARY, 52, former agent of the Railway Express in Crawfordsville, died Sunday afternoon at Mayo clinic Rochester, MN. He had been ill since October 1948. Born at Sheridan, where he spent his boyhood Mr. Gary was agent for the Railway Express in Crawfordsville from 1937 to 1943. Since then he had been associated with it in Indianapolis and Muncie, serving as agent for the company in Muncie the past two years. He came here from Noblesville. Mr. Gary was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Muncie and Crawfordsville Eagles lodge. While a resident of Crawfordsville he was affiliated with the First Baptist Church. Surviving are the widow, Hazel Gary; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Ball of Dayton, Oh and Mrs. Charles R. Smith of Crawfordsville and four grandchildren. The body will be taken to the Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary in Indianapolis. Arrangements for the services however are incomplete - typed by kbz.
